Founded in 2014, our company was born out of the urgent need for innovative solutions to address the rising car crash and pedestrian fatality rates. It became clear that the conventional tools we had been relying on were no longer sufficient. Something new was needed—something that could genuinely make a difference. This is where our President, Maj, stepped in with a groundbreaking approach to in-road lights.
In the past, in-road lights have often been unreliable, plagued by technological failures that rendered them ineffective. Recognizing these shortcomings, Maj dedicated himself to creating a solution that would be both reliable and technologically advanced. His focus was on ensuring that the product not only works but continues to work effectively for years to come.
After six years of rigorous research and development, and through three generations of in-road lights, we have arrived at our current version—a product that is proven to withstand all types of elements and continues functioning year after year with little to no maintenance. This innovation is not just a step forward, but a monumental leap in road safety technology, offering a durable and reliable solution that truly makes a difference where it is needed most, reducing crashes and saving lives.

Wael "Maj" Majdalawi, P.E., P.T.O.E. President & Founder
Wael "Maj" Majdalawi is a seasoned Traffic Engineer with a 40-year career dedicated to enhancing road safety. A graduate of the University of Kentucky with a bachelor's degree in Engineering, Maj holds both a Professional Engineer license and a Professional Traffic Operations Engineer license. His passion for saving lives has driven him to use his extensive engineering expertise to develop and obtain a U.S. Patent for in-road lights as an innovative solution that makes roads safer for everyone.
With decades of experience in both public and private engineering, Maj has successfully harnessed his expertise to develop in-road lights as a practical and effective safety tool. His deep understanding of engineering principles, combined with his commitment to public safety, has led to the creation of innovative solutions that are making a real impact on reducing road fatalities. Maj's work is a testament to the power of engineering in enhancing safety and saving lives.
Maj's commitment to Vision Zero becoming a reality led to several years of extensive research and development in creating in-road lights, a groundbreaking technology that has now proven to reduce car and pedestrian fatalities across various applications. His continued efforts in the road safety world have forever changed safety for all road users.
In addition to his engineering achievements, Maj is a successful entrepreneur, having launched and led multiple ventures throughout his career. His unique blend of technical knowledge and business acumen has made him a leader in the field of traffic engineering and a pioneer in the development of life-saving technologies.
Alexa Majdalawi, M.B.A., J.D. CEO
Alexa's background in political science has been a cornerstone of her career, shaping her understanding of the intricate relationship between law, business, and government. She earned her B.A. in Political Science with honors from Florida Atlantic University and an M.B.A. with highest honors from Metropolitan College of New York. Her passion for public service and policy led her to pursue a J.D. from Barry University School of Law. During her law studies, Alexa's leadership and commitment to political engagement were evident; she served as the Governor of the Florida Bar Young Lawyers/Law Student Division, President of the Business & Corporate Law Association, and a three-time officer in the Student Bar Association.
Alexa’s career has been marked by a strong focus on political outreach and advocacy. In her previous role as Chief Legal Officer of a Private Equity-focused company, she not only led legal & compliance initiatives but also actively engaged with policymakers and industry leaders to advocate for regulatory frameworks that support innovation and economic growth. Her efforts have spanned multiple sectors, including real estate, financial services, and legal services, where she has successfully navigated the intersection of law and politics to drive value for her clients and organizations.
